Especially when one job does everything correctly on your W2 and the other job sends you 3 W2s for various amounts that don't add up and you should've only got one W2 in the first place.

This delay is causing me to, well, delay boking a hotel room for NYC, as part of my refund would go to pay for that. I all ready have tickets to 5 shows and airfare purchased, but now this is throwing my planning off. The longer I wait the room rates go up even though I will probably use priceline again, almost cost me $1000 for 3 nights in November when I went. I'm staying 5 nights this time. Last year when I went at the same time I got hotel and airfare for 5 nights for less than $700 and got a great (although small) room at the New York Hotel.

I've been eyeing this place called the Yotel, but I don't know if it would be on Priceline.

I called about my W2 for the 2nd time today and was told they are "activly looking into it." Yeah I've heard that before. It's call "I have no clue." I had to call because they didn't call me with an update when I was tld they would call in 3-5 days. Well it's been 7. I was told if I didn't hear anything by late Wednesday or Thursday to call back again. I don't see this getting resolved in time for my trip, so I'm going to have to figure something out. I really don't what to put the hotel on my credit card, but it might come to that.

I had a lot to post, but I couldn't write it. I didn't want to write it. Also their iPhone app is still awful even after the update, so I hate using it.

I got a new Nikon D3100 for Xmas and I might post some pictures of my strolls around the city. I have a lot of pictures I took at the Zoo and of the Civic Arena Demolition...I guess I'll post my two favorite here. Click on them to view in full size.

So since i last posted I went to Florida twice with a trip to NYC inbetween. I'll help on a plane to go anywhere if given the chance. They were fun and I'll be heading back to NYC in March for what's becoming an annual trip.

I'll try to post a few times a week, or at lease once a week to keep things moving and I may redesign the site a little. I know I need to update my links too.

There has been so much backstabbing, lies stemming from poor management.

It was pretty much disastrous and it took until yesterday to solve part of the mysteries that began on Monday and hit me like a sack of potatoes. I haven't even been able to finish reading "Bossypants" yet.

This past week has sent me thinking and I circled a few dates on my calendar. One was being the day I will quit my job. I've been talking about it forever, but it's basically time to start putting things in motion. Even if I haven't lined up anything permanent by that date, I need to quit, not because I can't do the job, but because I'm not happy with what I'm doing. It's been making me slightly depressed at times and that's not what I want, so I need to change it.

I know if I don't have another job lined up I would be losing my health insurance and a good chunk of pay, but that's not a reason to stay at a place that makes you feel, well sick.

So I have things to figure out, but I did give myself some time to set things up. Hope it works out though.

A weekly Recap

Finding time to write recently has been hard. It's not like I don't have time to write, I just haven't had the time to think about what to write.

Today though I will describe last week for you.

Work has been frustrating, boring and at times a challenge to even care about what is going on. There is something going on within the company, but no one is saying anything. My co-worker took another job in the company and her last day was Friday, so that sucks, but when people dick you around it doesn't leave a choice for people to stay where they are. I set a time where if things don't change I'm leaving. I might not have another job at that time, but sometimes you just got to leave.

Things are reminding me of when I worked at the radio station. There was a time to leave and I stayed to long and things got ugly. For my mental and physical health I have to leave at some point before the end of the year, but who knew having a Masters degree could screw you out of finding another job.

The rest of the week was just full of rain. We've had so much rain over the last week. All I want is 70 degree days at this point.

Wow! I just realized how dull my weeks are, yay for hockey play-offs to entertain me.

I'll try and post a few times over the week. If I finish reading Tina Fey's "Bossypants" I'll share my thoughts.

Right now I wish I was back in NYC. Being in the city made me miss a few things I use to do and when I got back, I will admit I was kinda sad and bummed that I don't do certain things anymore.

Maybe the actual reason was I was back at work, which is just a disaster at this point for many reasons. I'm not going to get into those reasons, but just know it's dumb and stupid and I basically gave up on understanding the situation.

I'm working on a few things, if they come to fruition YAY, if not...well just another disappointment and move on to something else once again.

I have a story about a $17 rum and coke I'll share with everyone sometime this weekend. I have to work tomorrow at a different sunglass store than my normal store, but I'm excited because it's a real store and not a kiosk!

k I'm tired and need sleep.

The plot follows the movie fairly close and the cast is outstanding as we hear disco and 80s favorites like "Color my World " "True Colors," "Go West," I" will Survive" and many, many more. The leads, Tony Sheldon, Nick Adams, an Erie native and Will Swenson are fantastic as the travel in Priscilla the bus Adam/Felicia (Adams) buys as they travel for a drag show in Alice Springs thru the middle of nowhere in the Austrailian Outback.

Tick/Mitzi (Swenson) convinces Felicia and Burnedette (Sheldon) to come along to star in the show, but the casion is run by his wife and he wants to go see his 6 year old son.

The show is campy, yet fun and light hearted with funny jokes and some audience participation, so if you are in an aisle seat in orchestra, you might be making your Broadway stage debuet.

Then end of the show had some audience members leaping to their feat in joy wildly clapping and whooping at what they just saw and I have to say it was the surprise show on my 6 show trip. I didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I did, it's show you can go into with a bad mood and leave smiling. This is the new "Mama Mia."

The costumes are amazing as they were made by the same designer as the movie and the ensemble taking on many different roles. If you scene themovie they do do the ping pong ball scene which is hysterical at how it happens.

If you as looking for a good time and feel good theater check out "Priscilla Queen of the Desert" now playing at the Palace Theater in Times Square.

American Idiot

The songs of Green Day strung together with a loose plot point about 3 friends trying to escape their boring life.

I loved it!

Maybe because I'm a Green Day fan, but seeing the songs come to life on stage wasa treat for me.

The kicker is it all happens in a short 90 minute intermissionless span of time.

All I thought was "Wow" thru most of it. Maybe being 5th row center helped since I was so close to the action. The cast is young and full of energy, the set is a sensory overload TVs and other randomness that are intergrated into the plot at times.

If you like Green Day you'll love "American Idiot"!

"American Idiot" is slated to close April 24 at the St. James Theater. Green Day front man Billy Jo Armstrong will once again take the role of St. Jimmy starting April 5. After hitting her head in a service elevator she has a vision of a white rabbit and chases him down the "rabbit hole" that is the elevator of the apartment complex where she ends up in Wonderland.

We meet familiar characters in this re-telling like the caterpillar, played by Pittsburgh native E. Clayton Cornelious, and the cheshire cat called "El Gato" in this adaption along with a White Knight, Queen of Heartsand the New mad Hatter.

Yes, the new Mad Hatter, played former Miss America Kate Shindle who is down right nasty as the female hatter and it's fantastic. Her Act 2 opening song is amazing.

Wonderland is in previews also and will have changes made and frankly Act 2 needs some. After a zippy and face paced Act 1, Act 2 comes to a halt not because of the song that is being sung, but the scene. A meeting with Lewis Carroll. It was I'd outta place and dragged on forever.

Darren Ritchie as the White Knight has one of the best numbers called "One Knight" in Act 1 which the audience throughly enjoyed as it was a spoof on Boy Bands. The audience also loved the song El Gato sang.

After Act 1 I was hopeful for the show, but Act 2 made it un-even. Like I said it's in previews and it was only it's 7 performance I saw so things will be changing.

Their are some confusing plot points that need to be fixed because they don't make sense, but I'm hopeful.

Janet Decal (In the Heights) plays Alice and does a good job with the part that was written, Karen Mason (Mama Mia) is the Queen of Hearts and will make you laugh with her "Off with their Heads" song.

Wonderland plays at the Marquis Theater in Times Square and opens April 17.
