Time to get LOST!

Tuesday, February 2nd, 2010

Today, I do not care about an animal seeing its shadow; I care about what’s inside a smoke monster or more specifically what it is as today is the beginning of the end of one of my favorite TV shows, LOST!

Lost-Season-6-Poster

On Twitter people are quoting lines from an awful Bill Murray movie and think they are being wacky and funny, but it’s a little annoying and just needs to stop, because no one cares that much and is Bill Murray even relevant anymore?

Didn’t think so?

So, previously on LOST we saw Juliet pound the hydrogen bomb with a rock and we got a white screen left to wonder, if the plan worked. Did the hydrogen bomb reset the timeline for our castaways returning them to their rightful place in time? Did the bomb not explode? Or did something else entirely happen? Well if you saw the first 4 minutes that were “leaked” (BTW folks ABC totally leaked that for you) you kind of know the answer to this.

The first hour was premiered in Hawaii the other day and based on the Tweets from the premiere the first hour sounds like it’s going to be a blast. There are spoilers out there for the first hour, but I refuse to read them though an annoying co-worker keeps going around saying “I know what happens on LOST tonight. Do you want to know?” I now know that co-worker has the mind of a 7 year-old, a really dumb 7 year-old with no social skills.

Anywho, I know not all of the questions won’t be answered for me in this final season, but here are a few questions I want answered by the end of the season:

1)      What the hell do the numbers mean? I mean they constantly use these numbers, so it has to have some meaning right?

2)      Who or what is the Smoke Monster? Is it another form of the man in black, can’t be because that’s the fake Locke, right? Is it another form of Jacob? Please tell me what it is

3)      Who were the Adam and Eve Skeletons? Were they someone the castaways knew?

4)      I know everyone hated Nikki and Pablo, I sure did, but if the timeline was reset I would like to know what happened to them. Because if it was reset did all the people that died really die? Charlie, Doc Artz, Boone (who was confirmed to be coming back)?

5)      Richard Alpert? Who is he, and what is part in the island mythology?

If those 5 questions are answered then I will be happy with this season. I’ll let the rest of the unknown answers surprise me.

If you are a true LOST fan then I know you probably read Doc Jensen and his ramblings on EW.com. If not Doc and Dan Snierson premiere their first episode of “Totally Lost” today, you can click HERE to view.

So what questions do you want answered in this finale season of LOST? Let everyone know in the comments section.

I'm so LOST!

And by the title I mean OMGWTFBBQ LOST is back and I will be consumed by this season.

As we learned last night this is all about time traveling. There were so many WTF moments last night it was almost hard to keep up with it all. We didn’t know if we were in the past, present, near present or future.

I was chatting with a few people yesterday on Twitter, well I was using TweetDeck beacuse it’s easier to follow, and 4 people that I follow tweeted at the same time something along the lines of, “This Neil character is annoying I hope they kill him off.” Then boom he gets struck with a flaming arrow and he’s dead. Plus one for the producers for doing that so quickly.

We also got to see that Daniel Faraday is Mr. Time Traveler as he showed up in the begining working on building the Dharma Station, The Orchid. Then we see him knock on the back door of the hatch then a yellow hazmat suited Desmond come bursting through the door with a gun. Faraday tells him to fin his mother in England, but before we hear her name the people on the island get shifted again.

Speaking of Faraday’s mother, anyone else think it’s Ms. Hawkings? The lady in who told Desmond not to marry Penny because he will break her heart and that he has to go to the sailing competition and get stranded on the island. If you don’t remember too well then she knows the rules to time travel and how you can’t change fate. Just like Charlie who was suppose to die but kept being saved by Desmond until Charlie realized it’s what is suppose to happen.

What’s up Jun? Is she like the badassed business women or what. Is she truly teaming up with Charles Widmore? Or is she really working with Ben?

What’s going to happen with Hurley and Syaid?

One perdiction I have. Charolette is a dead women. She’s bleeding out the nose and in the preview of the season we see her a dew team with even more blood pouring out her nose.

So what’s everyones theory for this season?

Is It Morning?

As I write this it’s 9:41am I can’t believe I am up at this point. Last night I didn’t go to bed until 1 and got up at 6:30am like usual. The late bed time was caused by going to the Steelers game.

It was a great game that, if you didn’t know, the Steelers won 27-10. Surprisingly, it didn’t feel cold in the stadium. I thought it felt warmer last night then it did during Sunday’s odd 11-10 (First in the NFL final score) win against San Diego.

Sitting at Heinz Field was like being trapped in a snow globe at times. The sky looked clear then all of the sudden there was snow. It started out slow then got heavy and swirled around then stopped and started again, hence the snow globe analogy.

Other great news from last night, the Penguins beat the Atlanta Thrashers 3-2 WOO! Read Seth Rorabaugh’s recap on Empty Netters.

So it was a good night for Pittsburgh sports.

When I got home I watched “30 Rock” that I recorded on my Tivo. <3 <3 <3 this show. Steve Martin guest starred on last night’s episode, he was funny, but nothing beat Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Jack McBryer. But last night Tracey Morgan made me laugh heard with his Japanese sex doll. I’m not going in more detail about it except to say they did a “The More you know” spoof at the end of the show and it was a highlight for me.

If you missed “30 Rock” watch it on Hulu or NBC.com.

In sad TV news ABC “did not order” additional episodes of “Dirty Sexy Money,” “Eli Stone” and one of my favorite and creative shows “Pushing Daisies.”

I was always hot and cold about “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Eli Stone,” but I always enjoyed “Pushing Daisies.” The cast was great, the stories were always quirky and it was shot in a really intriguing way.  I enjoyed this weeks episode with guest Fred Willard as “The Great Herrmann.” If you missed any of this years episodes watch them at ABC.com.

OK, hopefully sometime this weekend I will post the rest of the vacation stuff. I have all most all the pictures ready just to to get a few of one of the people that was there with me as he as some pictures that I need to tell a complete story.

Until then…
